And many more people worry that Bitcoin removes the middleman—oddly, these people usually are, like Dimon himself, the middlemen—whom they see as enforcers of safety and customer care.

This has regulators even more concerned and reluctant to promulgate regulation, fearing that if they’re too limp, they will support money laundering, another Silk Road, or a Mt. Gox. Until they act, however, they’re creating exactly the Wild West environment they fear and are further stoking those fears. So if you have any specific questions, ask an attorney. And in the meantime, let’s hope the regulators don’t, as Jamie Dimon and many banks hope, strangle this baby in its crib.

Although China is probably firmly factored in to the exchange rate and unlikely to exert any further influence, the recent IRS tax ruling, which has killed Bitcoin for use as a mainstream currency in the USA, will continue to weigh heavily on the market until and unless the IRS ruling can be modified to allow free use of Bitcoin as a currency without any tax burden, either financial or administrative. Since the IRS ruling was clearly politically motivated to protect the US Dollar, then such a ruling change will not come easily or overnight and will require heavy ongoing lobbying in Washington by the Bitcoin community - particularly by the Bitcoin Foundation if they actually justify their existence

bedenkliches Zeichen?
Second Market Bitcoin Investment Trust
hat am 28.3.2014 geschätzte 49 BTC verkauft. Die Daten werden jeden Tag etwa gegen 4 PM ET(Eastern Time =New York-Zeit) kalkuliert und veröffentlicht. Daten zuvor werden gelöscht, sodass man jeden Tag genau hinschauen muss.

Mal abwarten ,ob sie weiter verkaufen, eigentlich sollten sie kaufen bei den "günstigen" Preisen

Der Staat will Steuern. Wenn seine Regelung Steuereinahmen verhindert, wird er diese ändern. Da ist niemand besser drin, als die Amis. Die werden die kleinen Bitcoingeschäfte über Kurz oder Lang auch steuerfrei stellen, weil dann in den großen Geschäften mehr reinkommt.
