Last year ,bitcoin mining trend did good to the videocard industry so that the demand on the market was increasing ,but it wasn’t the career of videocard .As the profit of virtual currency and the change of policy ,videocard goes down .

However ,the videocard selling amount on the global since 2014 is decreasing .

On the earlier bitcoin popular times ,the efficiency of videocard mining is high .But bitcoin essence decides that its amount is less and less .So videocard will be phased out .

 

Meanwhile ,many kinds of chips appear with high efficiency and dependability ,small volume ,low energy and low cost .So miners love them .

However ,bitcoin and other virtual currency doesn’t have substantive political guarantee .Moreover ,with less enthusiasm from people and increasing mining difficulty ,mining machines are difficult to sell .

Therefore ,videocard amount is increasing constantly .

So I believe though later the traditional busy season is coming ,videocard market will be still in doldrums .

thats because amd und the amd OEM resellers didn't adopt. they could have easily made some bitcoin cards, only 500 MB Vram, less shaders, rops and tmu, and more energy efficient, but they didn't. they never focussed on crypto, and won't in the future, videocards are for gaming.
